2026 3rd International Conference on Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Modeling (CMNM 2026) was grandly held in Guangzhou from May 15 to 17, 2026. Hosted by Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology, undertaken by the School of Artificial Intelligence of Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology and Guangzhou Research Institute of Xidian University, and supported by Shenzhen Technology University and Yango University, the conference centered on “Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Modelling”. It gathered hundreds of experts, scholars, researchers and industry representatives from home and abroad to conduct in-depth academic discussions and idea exchanges on intelligent data analysis, Bayesian networks, perception issues in visualization and modelling, robot system simulation, dialogue systems, multimodal systems and other topics.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Yulin Wang, Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence, Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology. Rixin Zhang, Vice President of Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology, and Professor-level Senior Engineer Xiaoliang Ma, Conference Chair, delivered opening remarks on behalf of the university and the conference organizing committee respectively, kicking off this wisdom-oriented international academic event.
The keynote session was co-chaired by Associate Professor Di Zhang from Sun Yat-sen University, Researcher Youyang Qu from National Supercomputing Jinan Center, and Associate Professor Yuan Xiaoming from Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao. Professor Min Chen from South China University of Technology, Professor Celimuge Wu from The University of Electro‑Communications, Principal Research Engineer Xianfu Chen from Shenzhen CyberAray Network Technology Company Ltd., Professor Zhili Zhou from Guangzhou University, Senior Engineer Haijun Huang from JEESEEN TECHNOLOGIES, and Professor Fenghua Huang from Yango University delivered keynote presentations in sequence, sharing cutting-edge research achievements in machine learning, natural language processing and modelling, bringing attendees a high-level academic feast.
In the oral presentation session, more than ten young scholars from universities and research institutes including Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology, Shanghai Maritime University, Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Guangzhou Huashang University presented their latest research outcomes. The Q&A sessions featured lively on-site interactions, injecting new momentum into the advancement of machine learning, natural language processing and modelling.
To broaden research horizons, track academic frontiers and facilitate achievement exchange, the conference set up selection categories for Best Paper, Excellent Paper, Best Oral Presentation and Best Poster Presentation. After rigorous review, a total of 21 outstanding achievements received honorary awards. Throughout the conference, the offline venue enjoyed a vibrant academic atmosphere, while online cloud‑based discussions proceeded in an enthusiastic and orderly manner.
The conference concluded successfully in an open-minded and knowledge-sharing academic environment.
